MISSION BAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The Mission Bay Redevelopment Project covers 303 acres of land between the San Francisco Bay and Interstate-280. Established in 1998 by the Board of Supervisors, the Mission Bay Redevelopment Project Areas will include 6,000 new housing units, 6 million square feet of commercial space, a new UCSF research campus, and 49 acres of public open space.
OPEN SPACE IN MISSION BAY
Open Spaces in the Mission Bay Redevelopment Area include those at the new UCSF Campus, the new Mission Creek Bikeway, and portions of the Blue Greenway.
