The 555 Washington Project is a plan by private developers to transfer 18,000 square feet of Redwood Park to the City of San Francisco's Recreation and Parks Department and build a new residential tower, housing upwards of 250 new homes, on a vacant lot next to the Transamerica Pyramid.
